Reduce, Reuse and Recreate!

Have you ever wondered what to do with old or broken crayons?

Why not gather all those lose or broken crayons from your child’s Crayola box and recreate a super crayon?!

It’s a great way to involve children in spring-cleaning!

It’s so easy and effortless!

To create your own super crayon you'll need:

old crayons
a silicon cupcake tin (I purchased mine from the dollar store)

How to create your own super crayon:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Bake crayons for 10-12 minutes or until all crayon pieces are completely melted.

Remove tray or mold from the oven.

Be sure to let them cool for about five to ten minutes.

Once they are cooled, you’ll be able to pop the crayons out!

For best results try to use similar colors.

Combinations:

Red, pink and white.
Yellow, orange and lime green.
Green, sky blue, and dark blue.

Have fun recreating different crayons, don’t stress too much about color combinations!

Happy Crafting!!!
